Dear students, parents, guardians and community members:

I am honored to serve as the principal here at Social Circle High School especially at such an exciting time in the life of our school. The Board of Education and Superintendent have entrusted me to lead this great school.  I’m proud to be a part of a premier school in a premier district.

The community is very fortunate to have excellent teaching and learning in all of our sister schools. Your children come to our high school ready to learn. The high school staff members are dedicated to the continued success of every student through engaging lessons, student voice, and teacher clarity.  

Our teachers are also dedicated to providing all students with an excellent and equitable education.  The teachers are working hard to provide students with engaging lessons that will help them to be creative and critical thinkers, communicators, and collaborators.  High School is a wonderful time to explore future college and career options. Students’ positive behaviors will open doors to exciting opportunities. Our school offers a variety of clubs, organizations, and athletic teams. Research has demonstrated the positive influence of active participation and membership in activities outside the classroom on academic performance. We urge all students to get involved in at least one activity outside the classroom.   Our coaches and facilities will improve the performance of our student athletes as they learn leadership and collaboration skills on and off the field.
