Welcome to Social Circle High School!

At Social Circle High School, we prepare students to succeed beyond graduation by fostering academic excellence, personal responsibility, and meaningful connections. Serving students in grades 9-12, we provide a dynamic learning environment where students are challenged to think critically, pursue their passions, and discover their potential.

Our dedicated faculty and staff are committed to helping every student achieve success through academics, career exploration, fine arts, athletics, and extracurricular opportunities. By building strong relationships and maintaining high expectations, we empower students to become confident learners, responsible leaders, and engaged members of their communities.

As part of Social Circle City Schools, we proudly partner with families to create learning experiences that empower every student to succeed in life and make a positive impact on the world.

Preparing Students for College, Careers, and Life
High school is a time for students to refine their goals, expand their opportunities, and prepare for the future they envision. Guided by Social Circle City Schools' Portrait of a Graduate, our students develop the knowledge, skills, and characters needed to thrive in college, careers, military service, and life.

Through engaging classroom instruction, collaborative projects, leadership opportunities, athletics, fine arts, and extracurricular activities, students build the confidence and skills needed to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Student Opportunities

At SCHS, students are encouraged to challenge themselves, discover new interests, and build the skills needed for lifelong success. We offer a wide range of academic, athletic, artistic, and leadership opportunities that allow every student to pursue their passions and prepare for life after graduation.

Students have access to opportunities including:

  • Advanced Placement (AP), Dual Enrollment, and Honors courses
  • Career, Technical and Agricultural Education (CTAE) pathways
  • Work-Based Learning and career exploration
  • Fine arts programs in band, chorus, literary, and visual arts
  • Competitive athletic programs
  • Student leadership organizations and clubs
  • Community service and civic engagement opportunities

These experiences foster independence, responsibility, collaboration, and resilience while preparing students for success in an ever-changing world.

Partnering with Families

We believe that strong partnerships between school and home play a vital role in student success. Through open communication, collaboration, and shared expectations, we work alongside families to support every student's academic, social, and personal growth.

We are committed to providing a learning environment where students are challenged to excel, encouraged to lead, and prepared to thrive after graduation. Guided by our district's strategic priorities of strengthening learning, supporting well-being, cultivating community connections, and committing to system effectiveness, we work together to ensure every student is ready to thrive in college, careers, and life.
